Calls to action to Reclaim Medicine

In light of the failings, we have witnessed we are demanding legislative amendments to the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Therapeutic Goods Act.

These reforms are vital for protecting the health and safety of all Australians while securing rights for health practitioners to function without undue interference, being a package of reforms that will implement safeguards preventing government and agency overreach, witnessed during the time of Covid.

Tony Nikolic

A proactive, hardworking and highly accomplished Lawyer, Civil/Human Rights Lawyer and Criminologist with a great passion for learning about law and providing efficient and effective legal aid to clients to achieve favourable outcomes.

Tony holds a Masters Degree in Commercial Litigation, Honours Degree in the Social Sciences majoring in Criminology, Diploma of Business Management and trade qualifications in telecommunications, allowing him to become familiar with construction/building practices.

As a legal practitioner in a fast paced, ever changing environment, Tony is dedicated to continuous professional development and eager to broaden his existing knowledge and learn new skills to achieve organisational objectives. He is constantly analysing processes and conducting legal research to identify gaps, develop improvements and implement solutions to diverse challenges in the legal practice and in the socio/political landscape.

Committed to social justice, Tony consistently offers pro bono legal work and devotes a large portion of his practice to disadvantaged persons, aiming at making a positive difference in their lives whilst contributing to the embetterment of society.  In 2022, Tony and his team of former emergency service colleagues and friends spent 10 days assisting residence of the Northern Rivers of NSW during the floods.  In that time Tony set up triage, assisted with delivering food/water to isolated communities, elderly and livestock, registration services for the community and trades attending the region to assist, helped with a setting up communications and reporting hubs in Coraki and working closely with Australian Defence Force and emergency services at a time when very few resources were available.

Tony regularly visits indigenous communities to assist with providing legal support and has travelled as far as Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to represent disadvantaged first nations citizens in Court and have them released from jail in circumstances where no one else would assist.  Tony ahs worked in the Coronial sector and represented indigenous and non-indigenous communities with respect to Deaths in Custody and remains a strong advocate for Civil and Human Rights in Australia.

Tony also attends upon the homeless, the youth and sends staff to assist with sending food and clothes on the Streets of Sydney and Western Sydney. And he attends information nights with youth and former Police officers to teach the youth about Law and Order thereby guiding the youth towards lawful and gainful employment.

Most recently Tony commenced the actions in the Supreme Court of NSW to preserve the medical freedoms of all Australian citizens and remains steadfast in ensuring Australia’s Human Rights Laws are returned to benchmark global standards, rather than the steady decline we have witnessed over the past two years during the Covid-19 flu season.  The right to bodily autonomy and ones decision to be free from Government intrusion into private life is a strong topic of which drives Tony’s ambitions.

I advocate on behalf of Australians in other areas such as improving Whistle-blower protection laws and ensuring Australia’s national security is maintained at a high level.

TANYA DAVIES MP

Since I was a young woman, serving and helping others has been a major theme of my life. Whether it was my humble beginnings as a shop assistant and cleaner, or treating people in the public health system where I worked as a physiotherapist, I have always wanted to help and serve other people.

For many years I worked as a trainer at TAFE, facilitating training and providing development for people who were studying to change careers. This is where my love and passion for helping people in the community grew. I first moved to the Nepean valley in 1996 when I married my husband Mark. When I was pregnant with our first child, Laura, I started to advocate to make our community a better place. In 2008 I was elected to Penrith City Council where I successfully advocated for local community projects and road safety improvements.

In March 2011, I was elected to State Parliament as the Member for Mulgoa and over the last eleven years I have had the privilege of serving this wonderful community. In 2017 I became the Minister for Mental Health, Women and Ageing in the Berejiklian Government and served in her Cabinet until March 2019, when I stepped down in order to spend more time raising our children, Laura and Harry.

Over the past four years I have taken a public and strong stand against the extreme abortion bill in 2019 and in 2021 spoke out against forced COVID-19 vaccinations upon our healthy citizens. I am not ashamed to stand against the crowd when I am firmly convinced that what is happening is wrong. I am committed to seeing western Sydney continue to provide opportunities for employment, education and entertainment and to be the best place to live, work and raise a family.
